WHEN: Monday March 1, 2010
WHERE: South Miami Canals
Lenny Sortino who has been
out now with us multiple times
decided to brave the cold spring
we've been having, but it's better
than Boston according to him. Lenny
had a great bass fishing with about
80 bass up to 3 lbs. and 6 peacock
bass up to 4 lbs. This cold weather
should subside soon and the peacock
bass will get better with warmer
weather.

WHEN: Sunday February 21, 2010
WHERE: South Florida Canals
Chuck Cooper and his son from
Alabama were down for some bass
fishing in the Everglades. Bass fishing
has been good despite our cold nights.
Between the three of us we boated
about 75 largemouth up to 3 lbs. It's
spawning season now so within the
next three or four weeks the post
spawn bass fishing should be great.
The numbers are fantastic now but
the larger fish should start to bite
anytime now.

WHEN: January 6, 2010
WHERE: Rio Negro, Brazil
Ruth & Hugh Speigel went
down to the Amazon for giant
Peacock Bass and had a great
time catching huge fish. Hugh's
fish weighed in over 25 lbs. and
Ruth's fish was 22 lbs. Great fish
guys and they told me they can't
wait to go again. Hugh's fish was
just shy of a world record!
