Florida Bass Reports

Florida Everglades Bass Fishing Video Link

When: Jan 27, 2011
Where: Miami Canals
Lenny Sortino finished
his three day trip to south
Florida Peacock Bass
catching in Miami. He
boated 19 peacock bass
up to three pounds all on
live bait. The water is finally
starting to warm up which
will mean incredible days
catching these beautiful
fighting fish which can only
be caught in South Florida.
You can also inquiry about
catching Peacock Bass in
Brazil which we can help
you arrange the trip of a
lifetime.

When: Jan 26,2012
Where: Lake Okeechobee
Lenny Sortino fished with
us now for his 5th time and
did quite well on bass and
peacock bass fishing. We
started on Lake Okeechobee
with Lenny landing this nice
7 lb. largemouth bass on a
shiner in Pelican Bay. Day
two we fished the north near
Henry Creek area and
caught at least 20 bass up
to 7 lbs. with quite a few over
4 lbs. What a great week on
Lake Okeechobee.

When: Jan 18,2012
Where:Lake Okeechobee
Kelly & Robert Cimato
were out for a day of
shiner fishing on Lake
Okeechobee and landed
these nice 8 lb. and 7 lb.
beauties on the south end
of the lake. Okeechobee
is red hot right now and
should stay good for
months until the water
becomes to hot. But then
the Florida Everglades will
become red hot. We are
so spoiled in South
Florida when it comes to
bass fishing.

 October2010021.jpg
It's been an outstanding week of fishing in South Florida for largemouth bass and peacock bass. Each day will get better and more productive. We've caught multiple big female largemouth bass and big male peacock bass in the canals of South Florida. For more information about fishing the Florida Everglades for bass or Miami for butterfly peacock bass e-mail me at floridafishing@bellsouth.net.

Florida Peacock Bass
SouthAfricans.jpgPeacock Bass fishing in South Florida has been slow up until recently because of cold weather and high water conditions. Now that the colder weather has moved out we should start to experience better fishing days. Usually April and May are the peak spawning season for Peacock Bass yeilded between 20 to 40 fish per day for two fisherman. We've had three peacock bass trips over the last two weeks and boated over 70 peacock bass up to four pounds. Here's Mike Smith's fish he caught this week in Miami.

Everglades Bass Fishing
7 lb. Everglades Bass
The Florida Everglades big female bass are biting good now. With the water starting to be lowered it should only get better as the weather improves. Each day has seen better and bigger bass biting on lures. Pictured here is a nice 8 lb. largemouth caught in mid April.
